Hello!
My name is Megan Swiss-Schuster and I am an avid traveler, lover of anything aquatic and passionate for those who may need just a little extra love and care. I grew up in the small town of Marysville, Michigan. I have always called this my home, until I grew up to be a student at Michigan State University. I am now proud to say that I have two homes.

My family is immensely important to me. I have one younger brother who is 14 years old and will be headed into high school this upcoming fall. As he heads into a new direction, so will I. My student teaching will begin next year in Chicago! I am excited for a new change and the opportunity to grow in a different environment. Prior to this transition,  I will be graduating in the spring with a degree in Special Education. I hope to one day work with students of all ranges of abilities. I have had the oppotunitiy to work with these students each summer at camp, as well as in various placements through MSU. It is my hope that each of my students may function independently as to his/her ability, as well as have confidence in his/her self.

Outside of my schooling and career plans, I mentioned that I enjoy traveling. This past summer, I traveled to Italy, France and Switzerland through a Study Abroad program with MSU. It was an amazing experience filled with culture, food and fun! Apart from traveling, my spiritual faith and growth is also something that is of high importance to me. I am involved at St. John's Student Parish in East Lansing and I will be going on an Alternative Spring Break to Mexico in March with the church.

I hope you have gained a little more insight into my life and I look forward to the knowledge I hope you gain from viewing my website.

                         Ciao!
                                                                         Megan
